OPEN HOUSE!!
The semi annual open house will be earlier this year than normal. It is going to be on November 19, a Saturday, from 1 to 6. It will be a great time! I will be having an art sale and it is always a great opportunity to come and see all the art that everyone is doing in the building.

Paintings Are Back
We picked them up from Golden Beetle Saturday, and they sure need a cleaning!!! The name of them “Textured Tryptic”, was a huge undertaking that I did for my friend. But it got me to create something fantastic! Three, 36″ x 48″, for a total of 36 sq ft. There are over 120 separate sections that make up the three. They will be featured for the first time outside of Golden Beetle at my open house the 1st Sunday in December. Pictures to come in a couple of days!
Golden Beetle Closing
Super sad to hear that Golden Beetle in Ballard will be closing its doors. Two years ago I painted three big and beautiful Piecemeal paintings for the remodeling of the interior. It was an amazing feat for me because it took so long to paint the three, and there is so much color and detail. I think they are wonderful. So, as GB closes I will be picking up the three on Saturday and bringing them to my studio. This will be great for my open house in December because not very many people have seen these at all. Can’t wait to have them back!!
New Paintings
I’ve been working with a different technique, and the result is pretty nice! They look like stained glass a little bit. I finished a commissioned triptych this past week and I am very pleased…I will be working with this more and will feature some of the new works this Decembers open house at Inscape. Super excited!
Dreams of Blue Flowers
Salon Bar-Kon
I have a small show at Salon Bar-Kon on Capital Hill, 1416 Boylston Ave. My friend Rodney, the salon owner, asked me if I would hang colorful paintings in his brand new place, and I of course said yes! There are 10 paintings of various sizes and styles, and they will hang for two months there. They look great!!
