Colorstretch is a name that I use to describe the taffy-like, color-bending surface that is purely eye flow. Different types of acrylics offer me the opportunity to create wonderful shapes and bands of color. There are some that are kind of monochrome and some that have many colors enveloping each other. The surfaces remind me of water swirling, or being in a plane and seeing the way water would flow coming from hills or mountains that trickle into ever smaller streams. They almost appear topographical and/or fractal-like as well… There is a never-ending aspect of looking at the color and watching where it goes and what it flows from or into.
