So, today marks the day that making a Colorstretch with glow in the dark paint works! And it looks pretty cool. I am excited!

Unique Efflorescence Painting Being Commissioned
I have been asked to make a flower painting using glow paint. I am making test tiles to see which of the two glow paints will work. I mixed 4 colors with the glow to see how the paint will work when dried and place under light then in to a dark space to see if they indeed do glow. The colors will be shades of green, yellows, silvers, a little blue, gold, and white. This will be cool if it works. Not sure I would do this again, but what someone wants I will try to deliver! Stay tuned! I will be completing it this next week. I will take pictures in the dark if it works too.
Two Paintings…
So, I did two flower paintings this weekend, one yesterday and one this morning. One measures 36″x48″, the other 24″x48″. I’m glad that I am checking off work on my to do list! So I gotta keep this up. I don’t want to be stagnant. Pictures will be uploaded in 10 days!.
Really Cool..
Large Colorstretch Coming
In May I will create a Colorstretch that will be 36″x48″ . I am in my studio making the first test “tile”… I’ve been really wanting to make this for about 9 months now. So, I gotta do it, no more artist block.
Back To Work
Painters Block
Having trouble getting to my studio lately. Not a good thing. Not sure why, stress maybe… I also am starting to hate driving down there. Seattle traffic is the worst. I will get over this.
Tuxes and Tails 2014
So now that I have delivered mixed Flowers #2 to Agrodolce, and took #1 to my studio it’s now time to photograph it and prepare for it to be delivered May 10th!
I’m going to include a photo of my dear Alma. It was 5 years ago that Alma was rescued from Seattle Humane Society. When she was rescued we knew she was going to be the featured cat at Tuxes and Tails 2009. Although she was not there she made a painting. They provided the surface and dipped her three paws (yes I have two three legged kitties) in to black and white paint. Then it looks like they made her walk over the surface. That painting was auctioned at the event!!! So, five years later donating a painting, it’s like full circle. I hope it sells for lots of money! It all goes to benefit the amazing organization and animals at the Seattle Humane Society.
Here It Is

I am super happy to be on this huge list if donors!!! I would be thrilled if my painting sold for two to three times or more than the donated value. All money raised goes to this amazing organization. I will be attending this year, my first black tie event. Can’t wait …
March 23rd…Save the Date
I have collected my eight pieces of art from my small show and those are all nicely hung in my studio. Those of you who stopped by last open house will see all new work. My studio looks great! I will be replacing carpet too, since I have destroyed the current remnants. Walls are cleaned up, nice and white! I’m hoping that the days being longer will bring people out to see fantastic local art! I can’t wait…this will be a fun day!
