Drying Time

Next is Blue! Have to wait at least two more days! Surface drying time usually a week…but it’s been rainy so much there is humidity in the air…sure looks nice though!

The painting I made for my friend Rodney Barney is now finished and hanging in his salon! Salon Bar-Kon is located at 1416 Boylston Ave. on Capitol Hill. This technique I call my “stained glass” look. It has many beautiful colors and interferences!

Spring Flowers

This week I will start the first of three flower paintings for Agrodolce restaurant in Fremont. The first one I will do will be a new series of color, or a one-off, I’m not sure, but it will be a blend of Yellow and Red flowers throughout 12 sf. of canvas! This will be a beautiful piece just in time for spring. Following that, will be Blue #5, & Red #7. I’ll be busy, and will be posting pictures very soon! ✨

This is my most favorite Colorstretch I have ever done I think. Blue is my favorite color and I had left over paint that made grey, so….this is my Grey, Blue, and Black Stretch! It has about 5 more days to dry. This is painted on a square canvas that I had an extra left over from a commission. I haven’t painted many pieces on square canvases, this is actually the fifth one! That’s cool cause that’s my fav #. I will hang it on an angle that looks like a diamond shape 🔷like so… I can not wait to finish it 😍

La Push

My favorite place on Earth is La Push out on the coast. It is such a spiritual and calming place. I have been going for 11 years. Every time I have gone I clean the beaches of plastic debris and styrofoam, among other horrible types of trash. In all I cleaned four miles of coast, took off >500 lbs. and lots of miles walked.
